It’s too bad it’s not December, because this would make a great Christmas gift for the person who has everything: A video game.

But not just any video game.

The world’s most expensive video game. Which comes with its own race car.

Priced at a wallet-shrivelling £125,000 (about $390,000 Cdn), The Grid 2: Mono Edition includes an actual BAC Mono supercar “to deliver the ultimate racing experience,” according to the BAC website.

The BAC Mono, which stars in the video game, is a British manufactured, road-legal, ultra-high performance supercar. Created from high-strength carbon fibre, it has a 2.3 litre, 280 bhp four cylinder power plant, can reach speeds of 170 mph and go from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds.

Here’s the full menu of goodies that come with this unusual offer, which is available to one customer only:

• A copy of GRID 2 for PlayStation, including bespoke artwork

• BAC Mono in exclusive Grid 2 livery

• A day at the BAC factory, which includes a factory tour and time spent with technicians to customise the BAC Mono for size and specifications

• A Grid 2: Mono Edition branded Bell Racing helmet

• Race suit, boots and gloves all made to measure in BAC Mono and Grid 2 branding

Video: Because knowing there’s a video game out there that comes with a car isn’t enough of a tease, BAC Mono has provided still more tease. (That said, this is undeniably one beautiful beast of a machine.)
